Resources to improve teaching and learning
Faculty at Concordia University focus on their teaching and review and update courses frequently. One way to focus more deeply is to develop a scholarship project around what and how students are learning in a particular course. This type of scholarship, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), is valued at Concordia. Faculty may seek assistance with their projects from the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching staff or other identified personnel who support scholarship among the faculty.
Below you will find resources on SoTL and the institutional review board (IRB), including videos, articles, journals that publish SoTL research (useful in a literature review or for possible article submission), and information about SoTL conferences. If you have additional questions, please contact the CELT at 262-243-2358.
