The book to be read and discussed for the spring semester will be "Relationship-Rich Education: How Human Connections Drive Success in College" by Leo Lambert and Peter Felten.
Drawing on their research across hundreds of interviews and visits to 30 universities across the country, the authors provide strategies for how relationship-rich environments can exist for all students in higher education. Specific topics include mentoring conversations with students and building relationship-rich classrooms.
EVENT DATES
Discussion sessions, led by Kate Robertson and Rob Balza, will meet from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on the following dates:
- January 30 (Intro and Chapter 1)
- February 20 (Chapters 2 & 3)
- March 13 (Chapters 4 & 5)
- April 3 (Chapter 6 and Conclusion)
